According to the Target product page, this TV is eligible for a 2 year manufacturer warranty if you register the TV online in the first 90 days (with Element). As so many cry babies have posted that this is a trash TV, a second year on the warranty does seem valuable. However, in attempting to register this on the Element site, this model does not appear in the drop down menu (nor anywhere else on their site) and I wasn't able to register it. Hopefully they will correct that issue in the next 89 days.

It has 2yr warranty if you register it. I bought with Costco Visa to add additional 2yrs warranty. With 4yrs of warranty, that makes it pretty easy decision

Is the mounting for this 300 x 200 per the Target spec listings? The image of the back sure appears to be more square (unless some random stock image). Anyway, if anyone actually has this 58" in their possession, confirmation would be appreciated. Thanks!

Sorry have to LOL and then say sorry for the loss of your TV! I got the 65" Element last BF and am really impressed with it and that's typing on an LG 42" OLED at this moment. I got it for my bedroom which for most would be overkill but my headboard's like 16' away. I would have however went with this one for $100 less. I do go with extended warranty on these figure they will crap out after year or so then get repaired or reimbursed or they will last many years.

Thanks OP. Paid for one this morning and it's ready for pickup now. My 55" curved Samsung is on its last leg, and I missed out on both the Amazon deals during the Prime Day sale a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully it will be decent for my use. It does say there's a 30 day return policy which should be plenty of time to check it out good (or run across a better deal by then). One thing I wonder is if I would be able to use a Roku remote with the 3.5 jack in it. I've been using that as a learning tool for drumming with our praise band. Plug in the In Ear Monitors and pull up a Drum Cam version of the song on YouTube and voila. Fingers crossed that it will be good enough for my needs. But I guess anything that works has to be better than what I deal with now. But thanks again OP.

Roku is much easier to use but everything is locked down (just like Apple devices). The Roku OS doesn't allow you to pair bluetooth devices to the TV, or install apps that aren't in the app store. Unlike the Android OS, I can sideload apps, change the home page launcher, and pair bluetooth devices directly to the TV. Plus with Android I can install a functional web browser unlike Roku. Which is why I use an android box instead of the Roku OS.

Thanks for the heads up, was surprised at 12 am on the 30th, no price change, and kept trying until 12.30 am, figuring it was another Walmart deal I went to sleep, looked back at the website at 8 am east coast and found it for $199, added the protection for $39 have 5 years of warranty. Thanks, great for the spare bedroom.

Still in stock at most NE Ohio stores as of 6:45AM, so this is not like that sham Walmart sale everyone whined about. Keep the plasma....we have 4 tv in our house. 2 Panasonic Plasma 55 gt30(2013) and a Plasma 42 (2008)..both are our main TV. They had to have some boards replaced a few years ago ($100 per tv) but both are perfectly working. The other two are LCD (Sony and Samsung)...32...those we barely use. Bad thing about those old plasma is they are super heavy and they get pretty hot. LoL...but the image is better than those new tvs.
