Harbor freight: 20% off any socket or ratchet, 15% off warrior, Baurer, or Hercules tools and more ends 10-30-22
[harborfreight.com]

Limit 1 item/day with the above coupons

Save 15% on any air tool, Apache cases, batteries, warrior, Bauer, Hercules brand, or lighting products

Save 20% on any tarp, disposable gloves, sockets, ratchets

Save 10% on any tool storage, plasma welder, predator generator, Daytona jack or lifting

You can also save 5% more on each category if you buy the harbor freight membership. For me it isn't worth it for my small ticket items. My $.02.

Note that the $5 off a Pittsburgh Pro ratchet coupon has no expiration date and would probably result in a lower price on those items.

Edit: see below, it seems as though the expirationless coupon has expired

The last time I tried to use this in a store, it failed to apply to the 3/8" and 1/4" combo ratchet.

$85 for the banks roofing nailer. Any good? Building a pavilion and won't need it until spring. Probably only use the tool a handful of times. Renting from HD is $30 a day.

There was some confusion for a while because the ratchet names changed, but it appears as though they may have finally expired the expirationless coupon.

Thanks for the link. I've been seeing more and more comparisons of expensive HF Icon tools to cheaper apparently equivalent options at Amazon.

I had to argue with them to use the 20% off any socket "no exclusions" coupon on an an O2 sensor socket.

Confirmed - tried it a few weeks ago, it's no longer in their system. It's dead...manager told me it wasn't one of their coupons when he was called over then referred me to their webpage. Some of their store managers are so untrained (or lazy). One time I returned a Central Forge hammer (it had some age on it but nonetheless), and the guy told me it wasn't one of their brands. I walked him over to a shelf and pointed out a product with the same name and logo on it. Since it was the 2nd store that I went to, I was pretty pissed and did that to prove a point. Damn, don't let your customers know more than you about your store. I haven't shopped HFT much since they killed a lot of their coupons off and jacked their rates in the last couple of years. They have their use, but I'm less interested since their political changes in terms of warranties, tracking your name and all of your purchases. Just what I need, another business collecting meta data on me...horray. Either you stand behind your product or you don't. Don't advertise life time warranty if you aren't going to honor it without a massive hassle. Anyway, rant over.

I cant speak for the Banks roofing nailer, but I believe I have their Central Pn. roofing nailer that I have used 3-4 times over a decade for small projects and it has held up just fine. Of course, not as quality or ergonomic as more expensive models, but it has always gotten the job done and not once failed me. All I've done on my part is oil it.
