You tell them you're a Sole Proprietor. You don't have to have a "busniess" or an entity (LLC, C-Corps, etc) to have business expenses. I'm a landlord, not a business, but I need this card to keep all my expenses separate.

I'm a landlord, not a business, but I need this card to keep all my expenses separate. They may deny you, simply call the Reconsideration Line 800-453-9719 and answer their questions. Explain to them youre asole proprietor for your "business. " They don't verify nor can they.

As it pertains to this application, there is a drop-down bar that'll allow you to just enter your SS#. I missed it the first time until a someone gave me a heads up

Chase web application is updated so that now without a business, application will not be accepted. Using sole proprietor
and social sec. number will not pass application. Sad to say, as would like the card and am more than qualified (business
not included)

"business not included", so you're NOT qualified.

Yes. Unlike Amex, Chase pretty much DGAF how you meet the SUB requirements, even for biz cards.

no

Yes.
I said I was a sole proprietor.
Technically I have a LLC, but from reading all the posts, it is much easier to just use my SSN and get approval.
Got approved for $3K which is enough to get the $900 bonus.

Yes, it's referred to as "cash back" but it comes in the form of URs.
