I have had a front loader since 1999 and never had leaks. My first GE washer was working fine until 2015 and I sold it and bought a bigger GE one. I still have it and works great.
An appliance repair guy told me "They all break, you're just better off with Whirlpool, Maytag, Kenmore etc... over Samsung, LG...etc because of the ease of parts availability to repair them."
You are absolutely correct. My repair guy told me the same info
Also had an issue where Costco claimed the washer is showing as 'stackable' in their specs, but the dryer was not showing as 'stackable', so they said the installers would not stack them.
That, of course, made no sense.... While it is true that Costco.com does not list the dryer as 'stackable', whirlpool.com does show in their specs that it is indeed 'stackable'.
And the installers did stack them during the install. The installers brought all other installation parts (power cord, hoses, vent, etc.), except for the stacking kit (which I handed to them).
Got it delivered today and the delivery people asked if I wanted the old ones taken away. Seems like they were gonna install it too but then they "double checked" and said someone else should be installing (which is what I expected).
The dryer scared me for a second because I thought it was 240v but I opened the door and it says 120/240
edit: looking at spec sheet still saying 240, now im a little worried, original house has 110v it seems, investigation time....
Edit 2: I have gas dryer, fark, anyone near Philly want this 2 piece before I return it?
edit 3: does anyone near philly want to buy JUST the electric dryer?

You have another appointment for installation? Or is it how Costco delivery works in general?
I think that's how it works in general. That's how it worked with my dishwasher. But sofa was delivery and setup in 1 trip
I believe the delivery guys had to install it for you if that's what you wanted.
3 delivery guys came to deliver mine, he asked if I wanted it installed and I told him no. He called up Costco and had me confirm with the rep that I did not want it installed.

Interesting, my guys had the installation parts (hose, wire, etc) but I asked if it was supposed to be another team. Anyways, I might end up returning it because I got a gas dryer apparently. But if I can sell the electric dryer locally, the gas dryer is still available and comes with installation
