Always remember to test the stud finder on yourself first to make sure it works.

I bought a zircon stud finder years ago and it was total crap. False readings all the time. Returned it to HD. Maybe they improved over the years but I doubt it. Then bought a Franklin finder at Costco and it works great. Just my experience.

I have a $15 Zircon and it's been great. I often use 2-3 different brands to see if they all agree….
