Dang - wish I hadn't picked up the others for cheap from FanFlix earlier in Oct now. The only ones I hadn't gotten was the 2 Halloweens. Still not a terrible deal just for those two I suppose **Actually just noticed that those two are $5 apiece by themselves, so not terrible just for those two without buying the bundle.

Not really at all.. I get people saying that about Devil's Rejects I guess a bit but the rest that's a pretty massive stretch. I get not liking them but torture porn not so much.

Zombie set out out to make grindhouse-type movies, partly because at the time they were hard to find and they weren't being made anymore. It is a low-budget genre with lots of blood and gore, with a fair amount of nudity.
My personal opinion after having just watched his Firefly trilogy this past week is that he largely succeeds at what he set out to do, but that means it's very much a niche series of movies that most people will not particularly like.
If you know what you're getting, and you don't set your expectations too high they're fine.

PS. Sheri Moon Zombie actually put together a decent performance in 3 From Hell. In all her other movies (besides Lords of Salem) she does a lot of annoying laughing and her overall tone doesn't seem like a good fit for the character (or the character doesn't seem like a good fit for *any* movie) but in 3 From Hell there were actually a lot of scenes where I couldn't really see a more expensive/talented actress doing much better. In the other movies she is often the worst actor on screen by far, but this time she mostly was able to hang at the level of the (professional) actors around her.
