I've had one of these for a while and think it is great. I can clearly hear a difference in sound quality with it over my laptop's or cell phones DAC. No brainer at $129.

i see $229, for $129 it's not a bad deal for 2012 simplified version of ESS Sabre ES9012. But i will not call it one of the best. Good, yes, but there is better DAC's there.

But it is limited to 24/44 I believe.

The Dragonfly can do 24/96.
You might not be able to tell the difference but if you are in the DAC market, it probably matters to you.
