These appear to be made by Electrolux. Unfortunately this is a terrible company. They refused to honor a warranty on my dehumidifier, and two previous ones were recalled due to electrical problems.

What's odd is only this particular size/capacity is on sale; the 22-pint (1,000 sq. ft) is $179 and the 50-pint (4,000 sq. ft) is $231.

Tempted to buy this and the 4 year warranty plan. It would be worth it if it only lasted a year like the insignia I bought from bb for $200

Many of the latest reviews are not good in terms of longevity. Looks like the goode olde "Amazon pump n dump" once again, where a faulty product is heavily discounted (pumped)to make warehouse space (dumped).

The reality is all dehumidifiers are only a couple year life span. With modern refrigeration chemicals they're at a much higher pressure and they just aren't built to last and they're not serviceable so you gotta chuck them when they quit. It is what it is for all of them these days

Wow insane deal, they only last a few years anyway. I bought a $300 one during 2020 and died recently. Even with all the fancy stuff on them, they only work so well. Run longe than expected. Don't detect the humidity correctly etc.
