You're linking a different product, which looks likes it should costs around $25. The Amazon Basics monitor arms are rebranded Ergotrons and have gone for ~$100 for most of their life. Seems like Amazon is aggressively moving their Basics products and $25 is absolutely an insane deal for this.

I never claimed that it was an "ergotron rebrand". So far no one has explained the different between them, and why gas springs are inferior.

I didn't skip your video. He explicitly says multiple times that the cheapest version is best for most people. The higher-priced mentions have higher weight capacity and mobility, but the one I linked isn't really a slouch in that regard. It comfortably holds 32" and can be moved around just fine. The video was too generic and doesn't address the question.
