Really stupid because this would happen trying to buy a LiFX buod a few years back that I had delivered from home depot and best buy. Not sure why this happens with only Amazon for me.

Shows $7.17 for me and shows 15,000 hours. Less than $0.50 per bulb is hard to beat.

I'll have to keep an eye out for a deal like this and have them sent to my in-law's house. They refuse to use LEDs because they insist on 3-way bulbs and apparently really like having to replace the incandescent bulbs all the time. Really baffles and annoys us when we visit!

For those that haven't yet ordered these, I'd strongly recommend choosing "ship in Amazon packaging". It might prevent damage.
Why would they not place the original box in another box when it's so fragile?? Is that rocket science?....or just the usual lack of basic common sense??
