If you are a big boy like me, the pant legs tend to be on the larger side, which I don't care for and had to have tailored.

I don't know if I qualify as a "big boy" (6'4", 200), but I also find the legs oddly voluminous, and they do tend to run long. The extra range of motion is a plus, but in terms of aesthetics, the look can be off-putting. If I needed my workwear to look "put together", I might consider getting them tailored as well.

Reviews and earlier comments indicate they run long
Overalls always do, they are meant to be rolled up.

I meant the width of the pant leg, not the length.

I use my overalls for gardening, but I hate that when I'm kneeling they get wet. I don't want to use kneepads, but I'm guessing that someone makes iron-on or stich-on rubber kneeguards right?

Can anyone link something like that? I haven't found any that fit what I want.

Thanks OP, I'm getting a backup pair.

can this be used for wood working projects. Lots of dust. I am worried as it is cotton.

I selected the 2x size then clicked size chart, was blank. Went back to the xl rg size then clicked sizing chart and it showed.

I see that this "sale" is still going. Thought I'd share that I bought 3 pair thinking these would be great for working around the yard at this price point. I'm 5'11" around 200lbs typically wearing 36x30 pants and ordered the L RG. After trying them on I am really disappointed. No matter how I adjust them they are simply uncomfortable with a tight fit in the torso (with all side buttons open) and super-baggy legs/ankles that just flop everywhere. I could not imagine wearing these all day long. Not even bothering to try another size just sending back for a refund. Hope this helps those in the same size range...
