I received the same email. I plan to leave Verizon postpaid given significant monthly cost differences. Thoughts on this option? Thank you.

This is blocker for me "Spectrum Internet and Auto Pay required." I don't have and don't plan to change my internet provider.

All spectrum mobile deals require Spectrum internet. I think it is the same with Xfinity.

warned y'all... spectrum mobile is garage...if you need to save money, just use a prepaid service so at least you know you'll only get scr3wed without a contract..... =)

Why is spectrum mobile garbage? I don't have a contract, it's monthly. I assume with this offer there might be a contact but I'm already with spectrum mobile so I didn't get the offer. I used to have visible and spectrum mobile is 100% better than visible. In some places I've hit close to 1gig download speeds.

After 1 year. You will have to pay the (at that moment) regular price for 2 line. If you don't' want, you can cancel any or all line. If there is any promotion you think it's good in the 12th month, you ask them to switch.

Spectrum is an MVNO for Verizon. What limitations make it "garbage"?

When I cancelled spectrum finally a few weeks ago, they offered me a YEAR of free cell service to stay and cable internet for 99.99 (price only good for a year, they screwed me in the past, I do NOT trust spectrum and their customer service in my opinion is awful.


I've been with T-Mobile since 09 and have nothing bad to say about them as I have only saw their network grow. $50 T-Mobile internet + their Youtube TV discount, you cant go wrong, coupled with the 55+ plan with free Netflix (thanks mother in law)

Tmobile offering $50 gc if you sign up for their internet and 2 week test drive. Can't go wrong.

Ive been using Tmobile internet for a month now, No issues. I never ran a speed test, but I have connected every device to wifi, whille streaming from apple tv, streaming music on my phone, xbox live on, no probs

isn't t mobile internet running off of 5g? the ping inherently won't be as good as a cable connection. basically you're looking at at least 40ms ping just out to google with jitter happening (inconsistent ping). game servers typically don't have as good of a connection to a home as google's dns so it will likely be higher. but for casual console gaming i'm sure it's fine.

Absolutely correct it runs off 5G, have their box in my upstairs entertainment room and per the T-mobile app my connection in my upstairs is "Excellent"

But yeah, we don't do crazy stuff, me and my son casual gaming (Switch/Xbox), our phones and tablets and streaming devices all seem to take it in stride.

So for my use, its perfect and I'm saving a TON of money. But it may not be the best choice for others.

I am a big music fan and still download tons of music and havent experienced issues there. Also do some light software stuff, grabbing Linux/Windows distros etc download speeds seem about the same?

IDC really about a speed test as long as it works haha
