I got it. But It removed my free 3 months of Walmart Plus trial from the T-Mobile promotion.

One benefit that I like is that Walmart usually allows 90 day returns for most items, vs 30 for Amazon. However, I actually prefer returning at a local UPS store than at Walmart, which can be a nightmare.

Also, food and groceries delivered from Amazon have been sketchy and even gross since the pandemic started, and it hasn't improved. Deliveries from Walmart for the same are not always perfect but remarkably better than Amazon in terms of freshness and quality, at least where I live.

Concur, I havent purchased fuel at Costco in many moons
Costco isn't that bad when you realize that you can use any side because they have the extenders on the pump. The costco is only a penny cheaper than a reputable gas station around the corner from me so it doesn't make much sense for me tho.

Walmart has few advantages. Shipping is faster than Amazon and secondly returns can be done anytime if in store is available.
Um i am unsure where you live, but I'd rather have to do a return with amazon over walmart. Have you seen how long their customer service line is? Also the customer service area has limited hours compared with the store. Finally, amazon you can return to kohls, which kohls has really good hours especially around the holidays - might even be open til midnight.

Going to take a wild guess there are more Walmarts than UPS stores.

With AMZ charging to drop off returns at access points it may be more convenient for many to return something to a Walmart.
What are you talking about exactly? Since when does Amazon charge for returns? Can you link something that says this? Your reply makes no sense considering that you can drop off returns free of charge at Amazon owned stores like Whole Foods or even at Amazon lockers.

Prices for shipped goods are marked up like Amazon.
I found the opposite.
There was a carbon monoxide detector discussed here on Slickdeals.
It was in my Walmart store, but the price was higher than it was online.
That is usually the case with Walmart from my experience.

You can but have you seen the lines for Amazon returns especially during the holidays?

Not enough perks to justify membership. Prices for shipped goods are marked up like Amazon. Store pick-up is a slow and terrible experience. There is a $35 minimum for local store delivery. All the other perks are free trials you can get direct from the service. Cheaper to get a Sam's Club membership for the fuel.
Walmart's new curbside pickup is absolute garbage. Takes a shitload of time, and you are never sure if they even know of your arrival. I wish they would go back to the old way of picking stuff up from inside the store.

I ordered something for a friend. She picked it up inside the store.

Sucks for you. Wait times at Costco or Sam's stations near me is 5 minutes tops. Typically no wait time at all unless it's prime time shopping hours on Sat or Sun
Must not be that big of discount then. Usually 25 cents cheaper than the 7 Eleven and WAWA across the street.

Just letting you all know that Walmart gasoline isn't top tier, I have ran multiple tests and there is a slight increase in mileage on my V8 by 1-2mpg on Costco or shell versus Walmart.

If we have 3 month free trial through Tmobile Tuesday, will it extend or replace remaining trial period?
This is the question. I have 134 free days left. If this would stack on the back end of that I would be in.

I have been shocked at how much faster Walmart is vs Amazon these days.
Not even remotely close. I have ordered items in the morning, and they have it on my doorstep later that afternoon. Walmart will also deliver a $2 item where Amazon will not.

I did the Exxon 10 cents off thing recently and that worked way better than I figured it would.
My local Exxon has essentially the same price before discount as Kroger or Walmart and the Exxon is Top Tier gas where the other 2 are not.

Wonder if this would be $37 if you use Amex monthly credit
No, it looks for specific wording: "Walmart plus monthly" to trigger the reimbursement. "Annual" will not result in no credit issued.

Some of us don't live near either of those. It's often a $10+ fee for me to return something to AMZ (UPS Access point). Not always though, not sure what the pattern is.

To drive to a UPS store is 30 minutes for me.

Ymmv.

Depends on store. One store in my area you can pickup in store as before. Another store you are required to drive to pickup area call and wait--then they expect tips. The second store made a big push for outside pickup. They even put off restocking shelves in the store.

I am not against tipping-just do not feel I have to do that for the inconvenience they are causing.
