Yes, this game will absolutely blow your dad away, the mods alone would probably floor him. The tractors and equipment are all real and from all over the world. He can try out the different stuff they use throughout Europe, Asia, S America, everywhere, and farm in different climates with their various crops, all kinds of stuff. But the most fun part for me is the management aspect, anticipating price fluctuations, buying new fields, branching out into raising bees or cutting trees or whatever. I've played the 2015 and 2017 versions, and I'm waiting for the year 1 edition of this version to come down in price a bit more before I pull the trigger. The base game is great, but I have to have it all, lol.

You can play non-steam games on steam, just go to "games" and click "add non-steam game to my library" then choose it from the list of available files.
