DON'T buy from mint - best buy has the same deal and you can activate past 45 days but mint is really strict about the activation expiring after 45. You've been warned.

Is this billed all at once, or monthly? Want to leverage the Credit card cellphone protection, so not sure if it will work if I pay in full and not monthly.
Mint doesn't do monthly so it's usually all at once, either quarterly or annually, depending on your plan.

If I buy a 3 month plan from Best Buy, do I still get 3 months free or this deal is for mint mobile website only? Thanks!
Yes you can buy from BB and activate before 1/15 and still get B3G3 deal. I bought my sim from BB about 1.5 year ago in one of their 50% off deal of the day and activated it last week and still got additional 3 months.

Picking up my order today at best buy. Current service ends in 8 days. Many have said it takes between 24-72 hours for the number to be ported to GV. Other than the $20 fee, do I need to do anything else to port over: tell mint cs? Or do I only call them after I start "new" service to add the 3 month bonus?

And after successfully porting the number.. I just forward GV calls/msg to new number? Any other settings I should change?

You need your pin from your previous carrier , once you buy from Best Buy it should not cost a dime you can do everything needed on mints site . After you port down load the app. It took me minutes not hours or days from metro to mint. Maybe 10 mins tops. Also check your messages here I'll send a link if you use we both can get a credit

I received my Mint SIM card from Target today. I activated it and got six months of service automatically without any issues.

So far I haven't been able to get data to work on Mint with my phone, but that's another issue...

If your phone is 5g ,mint and many other companies have bad 5g . Try In your phone settings change 5g to lte. I learned that on metro. I'd bet your internet works better in lte .

For this offer to receive the additional 3 months, they say it must be activated by 1/15. Beyond that, you might only get the 3 months
I chatted with them. They told me otherwise. Place the order on Jan 15, activate in March (before 45 days). I need someone else to comment on this.

Yes, that should work. The activate-before-01-15 requirement to get 3 months free is if you buy it elsewhere (BestBuy, Target, etc.)

Ok that makes sense but $100 referral credit is until January 15. So after that normal credit will be applicable.
