- Digital Costco Shop Card will be emailed to the email address provided by the primary member at time of sign-up within 2 weeks after successful sign-up and enrollment in auto renewal.

Which states the same as the OP, but also gives an expiry date of Jan 1 2023.

Once you get shop card, immediately log back in and turn OFF auto renew. That flags system to send you out marketing communication (normally on monthly flyer) to renew with $20 off for 2024 via in store.

2)do you have to use a specific credit card to sign up or shop there? And you can still cancel any time if you end up not using membership much? 3)If you use the bonus shop card(Which can be used online?), wonder how much they will refund if you cancel say, after half a year?
4)Should I, can I use an old email that we used from our address before for a Costco membershipAt least two years ago, even though want to change the primary card holder?
5) usually you can cancel your membership at any time, do you think it's too late to get an adjustment for grandma who stopped shopping there when the pandemic started, So didn't use it most of that year., but didn't know she could cancel her membership?
