If you're getting your hopes up about this, and thinking you'll be "the exception" to all the negative experiences...prepare to be disappointed. Read the previous thread about last week's Walmart + promo. There are 10+ pages of complaints. Walmart didn't even have the "Buy" button at noon, it was immediately replaced with OOS. I repeatedly refreshed the page from 11:40 - 12:30 and it was constantly OOS.

Walmart isn't trying to sell TV's, they're selling W+ memberships. I was gullible too, and paid for the membership, and thought I'd get a TV...at 12 noon, in the middle of the day, when MILLIONS of people were watching this highly promoted sale. Nope. Instead, I got the 55" from another SD post for Target for $199 on Sat night at 2am. Already have the TV in hand. That thread is full of positive experiences.

Granted, one guy said he went into the physical Walmart, and at noon they price matched the TV with the online price, and he walked out with it. Might be the way to go. Otherwise, don't get your hopes up. Another "deal" at noon that sounds "too good to be true".... Fool me once... Just my 2 cents. Good luck!

I bought one of these 3 years ago when it sold for $300. Still going strong.

If they keep it OOS, like it currently is, until noon on the 7th, there's a better chance of getting one. The Hisense deal last month didn't start until 12 noon, but Walmart let those that bought earlier at a higher price get adjustments.

How to still get the deal after the TVs sell out
This year, we have confirmed that if you're not able to buy that specific 55" inch TV before they run out of stock from Walmart's website, you can purchase any other 55" TV from Walmart's website, and they will match you the $188 price for the TV you choose. There are some caveats though.
Walmart says you will have to buy the TV and then call their customer service number at 1-800-925-6278 and speak with a representative. Tell them you are a Walmart+ member (non-members are out of luck) and that you tried to purchase the TV but they ran out of stock before you could get yours. (Make sure to purchase and call before 7 p.m. ET when the deal opens up to non-members—after that time, they won't match you.) Let them know you purchased a different 55" TV and ask them to price match it. The representative should know about their price-matching program; if they don't, ask to speak to their manager who should allow you to price match it.
Walmart says this is a "one-time courtesy" for Walmart+ members. They also say if there are no 55" TVs available, they will allow you to purchase a similar size with similar specs. There is some wiggle room for negotiation if there is no clear "similar" TV, but that will depend on who you talk to.

Should I keep the 58" Element deal from Target (still in box) or try for this Walmart TLC 55" and return the Element? I'm reading comments and reviews and they are all over the place. Everyone has their preferences and complaints regarding every brand. Any "Element" owners?

I've never once had Walmart price match their online store. Saying its an entirely different thing and that I'd have to order it online then pick it up in store if I wanted the online price.

I've tried this at 5 different Walmarts. All the same.

Element = ONN. They use grade B panels that didn't make the cut for other manufacturers, so expect noticeably more dirty screen effect

I tried in store but the manager said no for $188 to come back on Nov 25th to get it. I screamed at the top of my lungs and they finally gave me it at the price.

Walmart is having an early online Black Friday sale on this TCL 55" Class 4-Series 4K UHD HDR Smart Roku TV at 12 p.m. ET on Nov. 7 for Walmart+ members: It'll be $188, marked down from $499 retail price. (Non-members will have access to the deal starting at 7 p.m. ET, but the TVs are very likely to be sold out before then.) In previous years, even folks who signed up for a Walmart+ membership to have access to the deal couldn't get one before they sold out, leaving them without a TV and with a Walmart+ membership they really didn't want in the first place. (A membership is $49 for the the first year and $98 for subsequent years, or $12.95 per month.)

Must be nice. I ordered the 65" from Target a month ago. Had to extend the p/u period. Then, Target cancelled my order. Called CS about this. Rep told me the order was cancelled d/t it "going OOS". So, they took my order and money....then gave my item away. They refused to do anything beyond a refund. To add insult to injury, they refunded me w/ a GC.

Then, I tried to use that GC to order the deal to which you're referring. Ordered at 0200. Then, it was cancelled. Ordered a 2nd time a few hrs later. Cancelled again a few hrs later. By this time, item was OOS. Talk about infuriating.

For what it's worth, I sucessfully got a very hard to get PS5 after similar but not identical frustrations in 2020 by filing a very detailed better business bureau complaint. I promptly received a voicemail within 24 hours from someone on their corporate office who listened and understood my frustration and made it right by securing me a PS5 when they were absolutely impossible to get. I'd recommend going that route, just be polite and I bet they take care of you.

I own all 3 of these tvs. The TLC is nice, but it's not bright, all of my Hisense tvs blow them away. The Amazon Fire tv has a fluid picture and vibrant colors, just a little weak on the blacks.

The Amazon Hisense OLED that I bought last month for my nephew is unbelievable. If it was bigger than 50 inches, I would've kept it for myself

And the TLC has awful sound compared to the Hisense. I'm still looking for a soundbar for it, and I'm the kind of person that keeps their tv on level 5. but this tv has no kick at all. It was worth the $148 2 years ago, but the Hisense for $10 more is a world of difference
What's the model # for the Hicense you're talking about?

TCL 55" 55S41 and the one at best buy is 55S455. Can anyone please tell what's the difference between these two?
The Walmart one is $130 less.

They shouldn't. They change the model numbers to prevent this. PM is mostly a scam for TVs.
