If you're getting your hopes up about this, and thinking you'll be "the exception" to all the negative experiences...prepare to be disappointed. Read the previous thread about last week's Walmart + promo. There are 10+ pages of complaints. Walmart didn't even have the "Buy" button at noon, it was immediately replaced with OOS. I repeatedly refreshed the page from 11:40 - 12:30 and it was constantly OOS.
Walmart isn't trying to sell TV's, they're selling W+ memberships. I was gullible too, and paid for the membership, and thought I'd get a TV...at 12 noon, in the middle of the day, when MILLIONS of people were watching this highly promoted sale. Nope. Instead, I got the 55" from another SD post for Target for $199 on Sat night at 2am. Already have the TV in hand. That thread is full of positive experiences.
Granted, one guy said he went into the physical Walmart, and at noon they price matched the TV with the online price, and he walked out with it. Might be the way to go. Otherwise, don't get your hopes up. Another "deal" at noon that sounds "too good to be true".... Fool me once... Just my 2 cents. Good luck!
If they keep it OOS, like it currently is, until noon on the 7th, there's a better chance of getting one. The Hisense deal last month didn't start until 12 noon, but Walmart let those that bought earlier at a higher price get adjustments.
I needed 2 and was able to order them in separate orders. I realized on my first order I forgot to use PayPal for 5% back so I went to order another and cancel the first and it took my order, but then shows canceled in my order history.
personally hate "smart tvs".. just want a dumb tv.. but imo, roku is the least worst of them.
I had a TCL 43S405 in the past and it was great when I had it
it's sad, but for people like me... buying a computer monitor and using it as a TV is the way to go these days... no thanks fireos, rokuos, androidos, samsungos, blahos
Not sure how other TVs with "smart" built in work, but the TCLs with Roku don't force you to connect to the internet. I just leave it disconnected and have an Apple TV hooked up for streaming. Not assuming Apple's being totally respectful of my privacy, but I think it's safe to say they're better than Roku in that regard.
ohhhh now i remembered why i never buy tv from walmart! two TVs scattered from them from 8 years ago and never again
I was finally able to get the deal to pop up without OOS, and it only said to check nearby locations. No stores anywhere within 100 miles have it. I've never had a TV shipped from Walmart but after seeing so many bad reviews on their shipping I don't really care to chance it. But I do hope everyone gets theirs undamaged.

I've had plenty of TV's shipped from walmart, never an issue
