Walmart isn't trying to sell TV's, they're selling W+ memberships. I was gullible too, and paid for the membership, and thought I'd get a TV...at 12 noon, in the middle of the day, when MILLIONS of people were watching this highly promoted sale. Nope. Instead, I got the 55" from another SD post for Target for $199 on Sat night at 2am. Already have the TV in hand. That thread is full of positive experiences.
Granted, one guy said he went into the physical Walmart, and at noon they price matched the TV with the online price, and he walked out with it. Might be the way to go. Otherwise, don't get your hopes up. Another "deal" at noon that sounds "too good to be true".... Fool me once... Just my 2 cents.

Granted, my model is the 55S20, not the 55S41, but if you look back on prior sales of these models the discussion is that the feature set is identical.
As I went into great detail about, there are absolutely no options to enable/disable any type of motion smoothing or other effects. Whatever processing the set is doing is hard coded and can not be tweaked at all. The only things available to change are the standard things like tint, contrast, etc. And brightness - which as I also stated even when set to bright is not very good especially when watching HDR content.
All that being said, as someone who can't stand the motion smoothing/soap opera effect it is very minimal on this set to the point where it doesn't bother me and I can only ever occasionally notice it. I suspect part of the reason for this is that I don't believe these sets are true 120Hz refresh rate sets, even though they advertise as such.
I paid only $150 for my set, but at $188 it is still probably about the best you can find for the cost. If that is really your price range then I would recommend it - even if you dislike motion smoothing (because, as I said the implemented effect, while it can't be disabled, is minimal). I'm sure there are much better options if you are willing to move up even $75-100 in price range.
I myself had tried out an On TV and a HiSense in the weeks before that were closer to $300. When I grabbed one of these at $150 I decided that although it was mildly inferior, the other sets were not worth almost double the price.
EDIT: It looks like they are saying this TV is 60Hz, though I can't find any info about this outside of WM. Even TCL doesn't list this model anywhere. They do list the 55S20 but they don't really state the refresh rate on that either. IIRC this was a big issue when I bought mine several years ago that they are very sketchy on the rates. As mentioned, they advertise them as 120Hz, but they aren't really - they use some sort of software to generate higher rates but it isn't genuine. So, it is possible that this 55S41 model is more different, or maybe they just stopped using their false terminology.
Point being is that if this is really only a 60Hz set, then you don't really need to worry about motion smoothing, SOE, etc, because those were not really issues on anything below 120Hz sets. This would still fall in line with my observations of the 55S20 set - which is that it is rare, but not impossible to notice some motion smoothing on certain content.
