How long do you think it'll take before 97" OLEDs become affordable? I'm happy with my C1 77" from last year, but I'd love to get the 97" if the price is right.

Yes and no. Your employer has to participate, but it's not available to any person who wants a discounted OLED. The only way to check is to sign up with your work email. Hopefully that helps you out. Stock was scarce last year when the LG C1 77" was $2000 before taxes and shipping. I set the page to auto refresh, and I was able to finally get one.

the store allows emails like [email protected] (this is apple employee )

you can use that to get to the registration page which is simply an HTML post page. change to whatever email that you want and voila you get access.

Has anyone been able to successfully price match with Best Buy or another retailer with this store? Have read poor reviews on the LG Partner store in the past.

Ah OK. Having your own business definitely trumps having to work at a participating retailer to get in on this deal. Black Friday is around the corner so there should be similar deals. When I bought the C1 77" from the LG Partner Store, shipping was $100. Best Buy, Amazon Lowe's offers free shipping on big TVs.
