Older model and fits slightly larger than the newer model. Also the armors are older version of the D30 which we'rent vented, purchased and when asked they updated the website. Honestly it is priced overly for a mesh jacket. The Icon AF is $155 would rather get that than this klim

Older model and fits slightly larger than the newer model. Also the armors are older version of the D30 which we'rent vented, purchased and when asked they updated the website. Honestly it is priced overly for a mesh jacket. The Icon AF is $155 would rather get that than this klim

It's more like air Induction - it's a vented jacket. Opposite of a heated jacket for sure.

I have one of these, it's a super tuff mesh material - flows a TON of air in Texas heat. I appreciate that Klim puts a lifetime guarantee on their stuff for materials and workmanship. All their product designs are for serious riders that want the best stuff - not usually inexpensive, but usually the best stuff I can find for quality, protection and comfort.

This is a great deal! I bought a new Induction this year, paid $380 - and it is worth every penny here in Phoenix where it gets super hot. The attention to detail is excellent. I looked at the company's YouTube channel and they are serious riders making gear to help you enjoy the ride, but is built to handle any sort of crash. Guess they even warranty some of their high end stuff against a crash - they replace it if you crash. I'm going to get one of these for my wife as she only rides on my bike a few times a year for short distances.

Visibility matters, and every bit helps. I would avoid black (not just because of the heat) but because it's harder to see. Go for the brightest color you can get!

Thank you! I ended up choosing the Induction (2018) for $189 instead (which seems to come with ventilated armor pieces but is not adjustable around the waist).

Dianese's pro stuff is legit. Their consumer stuff is no better than any other foreign-made brand. It's not unlike what happened to North Face.
