I've tried their refurbished TVs twice - both times they had issues (bad HDMI ports or would randomly turn off).

Denied @ Best buy for a price-match for my recent LG C1 purchase. :/

The rep said they had already been advised they couldn't do this.. Hmmmm. Don't you love publicised policies for price match that companies selectively choose to not follow..

If anyone is interested in the extended warranty pricing from Microcenter. I found some open box ones at Best buy for like $975. I reserved one of those instead, since I can still get the full 1 year warranty from them versus Microcenter?

No, I bought a new one. DO NOT TRUST openbox from Best buy. Just recently bought a sony that had 3200 hours on it. Thats 400 days @ 8 hours in vivid mode.. Yikes.

Even though the website doesn't say "Display sets" most that I have seen lately are just that. Yeah, the price is good, but the life won't be.

When i posted it there were plenty of refurbished and 4 new ones. I have a c1 65" new for $1,099 waiting at the store for me

Wow that's insane, I thought these open box were customer returns, so they throw in store displays on it as well? Is there any way to check the usage on the LGs?
