Last year in December 2021 Amazon had their yearly deal on TurboTax which I hope happens again this year. I paid $58.00 for Premier (fed and state) and also received a $10.00 Amazon gift card

Dec 25 or so is the best time to buy TT. It's the best deal, consistently since the past 3-4 years I'm using TT desktop.
The only better deals are if you get it for free from Fidelity or another bank.

No way I'm buying at this price point.

The `Amazon Exclusive` is probably a made up thing to create FOMO. In reality they probably know how good TurboTax sells and paid them for the privilege to sell it early.

It will be a better price at several times between Black Friday and April. Usually the best deal is if you do Quicken also and they are bundled.

Software Discount USA has TurboTax Premier + State 2022 for $71.99 with 10% off promo code: NOV10

TurboTax can be had cheaper if one is willing to wait for holiday and post-holiday sales. Last year one could get TurboTax Premier + State 2021 for around $55 when on sale.

Go checkout trustpilot reviews online. Codes reported being sold multiple times.

I had no problems with TurboTax activating that I purchased from them. Trustpilot reviews gives them a score of 4.6 from 1,330 reviews which is considered excellent by their standards. In comparison, both Newegg and Costco have a score of 1.6 on Trustpilot reviews which is considered bad by their standards.
