As an owner 2 Dyson stick vac's I can tell you to save your money. Battery died on one after 2 yrs. The other has terrible suction compared to almost anything else.

There are some 1-star reviews on Amazon, but a lot of those seem to be for the refurbished version. There should be some posts coming soon on what should be on sale for BF. There may be other better deals coming. If I remember correctly from last year, WM did not come out with better prices on the early-deal items on BF. So, if you want this model and want it from WM, you may want to jump on this deal. You can return into January if you find a better deal, plus WM should price match if they put this on sale later on (there MAY be a BF exclusion though).

I'm not a fan of shark after owning one for 5 years. Filters don't catch all the dust and need frequent cleaning and replacing. This stick vac looks huge and heavy compared to Dyson or Panasonic. Think I'll wait till best buy has a deal on one

i've read that dyson battery replacements are expensive, and that other brands have generic replacements readily available?

My mom has a high end cordless shark that is a few years old now, the top half of the stick folds over the bottom half, not sure if this one does as well.

Edit:this one appears to not do that and has a different storage option.
