Agreed. You are basically only getting one small side and one small drink for free vs buying two sandwiches only. Not slick at all.

agreed, way better than sh it - fil - a sandwich. it is overhated because ppl cant accept the fact that a fast food "unhealthy" chain is offering such a good sammy

my locals only allow 1 offer per order, so you can't get the bogo s/w and $5 box in the same throw.

What gets me is how people are always praising Chickfila for their "fast" line, like it is amazing some how. They prepare NOTHING....NOTHING cooked to order (unless you ask for no pickles then your sandwich is ASSEMBLED to order....). Heck, they only have 4-5 hot foods on the menu, everything else is prepackaged. No crap they can turn out an order faster than most other fast food places that have dozens of menu choices and all require cooking at the time of order.

LOL...their magic is having breaded chicken, unbreaded chicken, and two smaller shapes of breaded chicken...oh and fries.

It was only a "craze" because you couldn't get one.

In 2019, I got mine in Irvine on business, and I must say it was great!
The store had boxes of buns in the dining area!

I figure it was new for the stores also. Personally, due to desire to lose weight, I haven't had one (or fried chx) in some time. I wonder if the stores got more organized with the boxes of buns. Maybe the distribution/bakery got their act together where the stores didn't need to hoard the bread.

I will say that if you get the sandwich, you have to get the spicy. The original just does not have enough flavor with all that meat.

CFA makes a great tasty sandwich and tenders also.
It is busy for a reason.
I got some fresh tenders at CFA one time and it was literally the best tenders I have ever had. It was better than Cane's which is good and fresh (especially at new openings).

Not saying it's the worst... It's just not good either. Maybe it's a good deal to someone who loves their side and soda. I guess to each their own.
