I think Gap is usually 20% off. I wait until someone posts a deal here for X% off clearance, grab a cartful of whatever I may need, then stack 20% off gift card.

Yes, I noticed that lately too. It used to be other way around. Also, Lowes used to make it sweeter with additional 10% on the difference, but they don't semm to be doing that anymore.
I picked up some items from lowes the other day, and just for the heck of it checked price on homedepot.com and there was a 20% difference. The lady at customer service tried to give me reasons that the items looked different. I showed her specs and manufacturers numbers, and plainly told her to let me know if she can match the price or should I drive to homedepot..... she didn't say a word more and matched the price.

No. Cannot use Lowe's GC to buy 3rd party GC.

This is why I suggest holding on another month or so; Discover has been running a promo "around the holidays" the past couple of years giving good discounts (20%) on a Happy Holidays "run as credit" GC that includes Lowe's. Those CAN be spent to buy 3rd party GC.

Also you can now get the gift card sent immediately via email. I appreciate this as in the past I didn't actually receive a lot of the gift cards I requested.

I used to buy coupons 20 of $100 Lowes but Lowes stores around me start rejecting it stating these are not legit coupons and only they accept the one came with Lowes email. I did try online to buy stuff and just pick them up, they keep canceling it stating the items are available at store and you can just go buy them from the store. The coupons website confirmed they legit and I can use it at the self checkout but I will have to print the coupon and then click on F9 to insert the coupon but I haven't try it yet.

I came to this deal a bit late admittedly, but it looks like the deals dead. It's only showing 10% bonus for me. I guess it ended early because "supplies" didn't last?

So disappointed... We were looking to pay for a big project tonight. I didn't want to purchase GCs until we were absolutely sure what we needed, and guess I lost the deal lottery. :-( Yesterday the cards were 15% off and today they're 10%. I'm still hoping it's an error or, if it was a problem with "while supplies last," there's a chance Lowe's will re-up the quantity.

If you can wait 1 week, Dollar Tree has 15% Lowes gift card on Thanksgiving.

Thank you so much! I would never have noticed the Dollar General offer without your post. We walked into DG a few minutes ago. There were no lines and they had a ton of Lowe's gift cards available. We had no problem getting the full amount of our contract in cards.
