The MC asus motherboard came with bios 1003, a VERY old bios. If someone buys that board in store with a 13th gen cpu, they'll be SOL as far as getting it to work without access to a 12th gen cpu. Good forward thinking on asus's part.
Still $173 vs $0. Hopefully the buyer does their research and/or the salesfolk are on top of things when recommending compatible products.
