If anyone is trying to decide between these and the Bose 700. Definitely get the XM4. They sound much better!
If I am looking to get a wireless headphones for listening at my desk (Windows) and for my calls with clients, and also occasional listening from iphone, would I choose Xm4 or Xm5 or skip either and go Airpods Max?
If I were you, and those were my choices I would go with the xm5 if I had the extra money to spend. I've heard that it's a small improvement in sound quality and noise canceling over the xm4. The thing that gets me about the airpods max is that they're still stuck on the old AAC/SBC Bluetooth codecs. The xm4 and xm5 both have LDAC, which is one of the best Bluetooth codecs around when it comes to optimizing sound quality. The xm4 is the best bargain out of the bunch. I also feel that the airpods max are just too overpriced.

But isn't LDAC, only can be supported in Android devices, but neither in windows or apple? Do you think the Codec still makes sense in my setup of not using Android as daily driver
