Edit: I stand corrected. One source indicated the set was likely retiring this year, but sounds like that's not the case.

Brickset is showing an exit date of 31 Dec 2022. But fair to say this is not a guarantee, and retirement has not been officially announced by Lego.

It's now being retired in 2023.. along with Winnie the Pooh set as per April/May updates.

wish it kind of matched more with the winnie the pooh set then I'd definitely get. Been on the fence with it other wise, definitely a nice set.

It's not retiring. LEGO just released a new list of retiring sets and it's not on it. Also LEGO didn't increase the price on any sets that are retiring.

One thing to keep in mind... I have ordered several lego sets from Kohls and each time when they arrived the boxes were trashed. I no longer order lego from them unless i dont care about the box. Just my 2 cents if you intend to give this as a gift. Unfortunately they just shipped the kits in a bag and not a box. I've had pretty good luck with Amazon so far. 🤞

I guess it's hit and miss... same thing for me when ordering from kohls where Amazon has always been fine.
