The price drops to $699.99 when bundled with a TV. I have the frame in cart (899.99) plus this sound bar with a free bezel... I may get drunk later and pull the trigger

Insanely good price for best in class product. I ordered one with in store pickup. One tip based on past experience with Samsung in store pickup...find a store where you can pick it up today and once you receive a confirmation go on the same day. Do not let the order sit overnight. Samsung randomly has cancelled multiple in store pickup orders for me when I did not pick up on the same day I received the confirmation (I've received emails ON NOV 1 saying 'since you did not pick up by Nov 3 we have cancelled')

I have this soundbar. Using it for around 3 months for a few hours every day with a QN90A 85" TV in the living room.

For reference, I have compared this soundbar to Sonos, Bose, JBL, and LG. All flagship models with Dolby Atmos. In terms of overall sound quality, the Bose sounded best to me and LG the worst. In music, Bose and Sonos are unparalleled. Samsung is the worst. In movies and TV shows, especially with Atmos content, Samsung was noticeably better. The surround effects are also crazy, very close to the dedicated HT system. Since I was going to use this for movies and TV shows, it was a no-brainer to go for Samsung over others. Samsung was also the cheapest, given that it already came with a sub and surround speakers.

Overall, I am fairly happy with the soundbar. The Q-symphony feature with Samsung TV actually makes a difference. It adds to the soundstage and overall immersion, and would highly recommend trying it out if you have a Samsung TV. Although, I have read mixed responses about it since it depends a lot on your TV speakers. At least QN90A and QN90B in larger sizes (65+) seem to have better than average speakers, so that helps. According to AVForums, it works best with Samsung 8k flagships.

One major issue with this soundbar, though. Sending in uncompressed audio (passthrough) can, at times, cause glitches like audio skips. On my unit, at least every once in a while, the chipset heats up and is no longer able to play lossless audio. HDMI passthrough also stops outputting 10-bit video. The fix is to turn the soundbar off for a few minutes allowing it to cool down. The issue has not been a huge PITA for me to try a warranty replacement which btw sucks. They ask you to ship the whole soundbar with no option for in-home repair or pickup. The soundbar is huge, so makes it difficult to ship.

Pretty sure Samsung did away with that a few months ago after they realized people were taking advantage of it.
I just tried the cancel trick, they said they can't do that anymore.

Remember to use the $200 off $2000 Amex offer. Seems to be only on my business cards.

Ordered the 700B on the 3rd for $319, which I already thought was a great price. Just spoke to customer service to get refunded for the new price of $279, which is just outrageous imo.

…I think is a slicker deal than $1k after tax for 11.1.4
There is 10% cashback $50 max that starts with R and has a m in it. Check Chase for 5% and 5% quarterly paypal. BoA has 5% cashback today only and 5% $45 max from their own cashback deals. You'll be able to combine both.

Samsung rep on chat said that this does not qualify for 100 day trial. "Products that Have 100 Day Return list them On the right above the ADD to cart Button, and the 100 day return is listed as a line item in the cart under the product" Did anyone else try?

Yeah, I'm wondering if I should get this for a room with cathedral ceilings. Seems like I would be paying a lot of money for atmos speakers that wouldn't really work as intended.

Is this only for employee or student discounts?
Because I see 1299$ price all the time. Even in the cart. How to get 910$ price?
In my case I had to do the following in order to show the right price.

Login to samsung website
Login to working advantage and stay logged in.
Click on Samsung Electronics offer
The click the red button "Get Deal now"
It will take you to samsung website.
Click on TV & Home Theater
Scroll down and find deal that says "Get up to $600 off Q Series Soundbars" and click on Buy Now
Q990B Soundbar (the price will show $1,299.99) and add it to cart.
In cart it will show $909.99

If you try to do it any other way or you get logged out of your samsung account and you try to log in back in, it will not work. In that case remove the sound bar, and try again. That's the method that worked for me. I've tried different other variations and was not able to get the price down from $1,299.99.

HOW do you find it at perks at work?!
Allow me to clarify -- after clickthru using the Samsung link on the Perks site, Samsung showed me this discount and allowed me to purchase. But I access that discount via Perks.

I have this. Movies 9.5/10, Music 6.5/10. Dolby Atmos really works and is surprisingly good for up firing speakers, I would give it 7/10 for Atmos. Bass is good, but not the best 7.5/10. Two subs would have been awesome, we can only hope. Movies is where this sound bar shines. Awesome, crisp, clear and loud sound. Make sure to optimize the speakers using the app during setup. Have fun.

This is helpful. I would get this mainly for music since I have a projector and 5.1.2 setup in my basement that is where the movies shine. Why the lower value for music? Jsur curious.

Does the Sonos Arc setup sound pretty comparable? I just received Arc, surrounds, and sub yesterday (still in box with 100 day return) and am going back and forth now on keeping it or not.
Sonos has much better mids, maybe not as dynamic Atmos (haven't comparatively tested) but I am VERY happy with the Sonos, especially the Arc and system tuning

Samsung systems suck. Get a Bose 900 or Sonos Arc and you'll be happier with sound quality.
