Did you pay online via Samsung website? I'm wondering if I can pay at BB when I go pick up

Keep in mind that 0% APR for 36 months is probably a better deal than 5% CB anywhere, if you have decent credit.

I have this soundbar. Using it for around 3 months for a few hours every day with a QN90A 85" TV in the living room.

For reference, I have compared this soundbar to Sonos, Bose, JBL, and LG. All flagship models with Dolby Atmos. In terms of overall sound quality, the Bose sounded best to me and LG the worst. In music, Bose and Sonos are unparalleled. Samsung is the worst. In movies and TV shows, especially with Atmos content, Samsung was noticeably better. The surround effects are also crazy, very close to the dedicated HT system. Since I was going to use this for movies and TV shows, it was a no-brainer to go for Samsung over others. Samsung was also the cheapest, given that it already came with a sub and surround speakers.

Overall, I am fairly happy with the soundbar. The Q-symphony feature with Samsung TV actually makes a difference. It adds to the soundstage and overall immersion, and would highly recommend trying it out if you have a Samsung TV. Although, I have read mixed responses about it since it depends a lot on your TV speakers. At least QN90A and QN90B in larger sizes (65+) seem to have better than average speakers, so that helps. According to AVForums, it works best with Samsung 8k flagships.

One major issue with this soundbar, though. Sending in uncompressed audio (passthrough) can, at times, cause glitches like audio skips. On my unit, at least every once in a while, the chipset heats up and is no longer able to play lossless audio. HDMI passthrough also stops outputting 10-bit video. The fix is to turn the soundbar off for a few minutes allowing it to cool down. The issue has not been a huge PITA for me to try a warranty replacement which btw sucks. They ask you to ship the whole soundbar with no option for in-home repair or pickup. The soundbar is huge, so makes it difficult to ship.

Would agree with this, was going to do it but I'm in the middle of buying a house. Put your money in a donut account and let inflation work for you for the next 36 months.

Currently have the 800b with 9500s rear speakers. How much of a noticeable improvement would this actually be? If it is worth it any ideas on where best to sell the current set up?
I have the same exact setup. I hear it's a huge difference so i was suckered to making this purchase. Gotta see how I can sell the others. It better be a huge difference though.

Anyone have experience with this vs the Nakamichis that are on sale?
I purchased this for $1300 with the workplace discount a couple months ago. Haven't experienced any noticeable connectivity issues. It adjusts instnatly to the ps5 or streaming channels. Quality of the soundbar is nice, but would have been nice to have snagged the $900 price instead.

Bought for pickup today at Best Buy and have already hooked it up.

Replacing Vizio 512 Atmos system that replaced a proper 5.1 system.

At 30% volume this just absolutely blows both my old systems away.

Extremely impressed so far. Great deal, thanks OP!

I'm in the exact same spot, love my Vizio Elevate ($500 a couple years ago), but I think this would be a pretty massive upgrade. Just trying to decide which TV to bundle with it to drop the price another $210. TU7000 prices are pretty low, but would like to find something nicer for a big gift for my family.
If you are in the market for a new TV it'd be interesting to hear how this pairs with a Samsung tv that has the ability to increase the soundstage. For me I like to be able to tweak my settings a bit more and find that 7-8 times out of ten the vizio app won't connect to the soundbar unless I do a reboot. If the sound is equal (according to rtings it's better across the board) and the app functionality works (at least there's a display with the Samsung) it'll be worth it to me.

Teachers and students buying $1000 soundbars. Bahaaa. Defeats the whole purpose for edu promotions. What a joke huh?
You talk like the EDU discount was specifically applied to this product. It doesn't work like that. EDU discount applies sitewide. You're a joke huh?

Have two rooms with Sonos Arc and subs. Love the ease, setup, etc.

Need one more set. With PerksWork discount I'm at $1,400 versus this deal at $910.

Someone mentioned that Samsung probably won't have good customer service and won't give product support 3-4 years from now. How accurate is this statement?

Q symphony is gimmicky at least for me. I was excited to try this considering my amazing tv has the 360 built in speaker into the bezel, but nope, Can't really tell a difference as I switched if on and off. I think it's because the sound bar over powers anything the tv speakers can do and just drowns it out completely. Also Keep in mind this TV has the crazy good speakers already built in considering it's the 8k neo qled flag ship of 2021 with 360 degree sound so if you have a lower end Samsung tv then you certainly will notice ZERO difference as to whether Q symphony is on or off IMO. Lastly Q symphony only works via Wi-Fi connection or hdmi earc. I prefer to have my tv internet hardwired to Ethernet so now I would have to use Wi-Fi to connect the Q symphony since I don't want hdmi cables in my clean setup (totally wireless with one connect box) Not sure I'll even bother keep this feature on considering it didn't do anything for me.

What settings are you using to make your Q symphony sound so much better? I'm in adaptive + and I physically put my ears to the QN900a's bezel speakers and can barely notice when it's on or off.

I'm torn since seemingly Samsung has had really bad quality control coming out of covid with wifi chips on their sound bars and capacitors on their TV power supplies. I'm not the type to buy a performance Ferrari that needs constant maintenance and has short lifespan. Decisions, decisions...
