It seems like there's a few different vertex model numbers. Does anyone know how to tell the difference? Not sure if it's just a color code, production year, accessories, or other difference. The $199 model at Walmart is az1810 and the $249 best buy model is az2002.

I believe the the az2002 will power the brush on the head with the lift away unit detached to get under furniture.

Thanks, picked one up. I keep forgetting I have that 20% off membership at BBB. Been looking for a vacuum and Dyson just seems so expensive... Here's hoping this vacuum works better than my 10 year old vacuum that I need replaced.

The powered lift-away is better than the standard lift-away. You can take canister off and the vacuum head is powered so you can get under furniture.

I thought I would be buying the Dyson that's going on sale at Costco soon, but too many negative reviews.
