I got the codes for the cameras but the link they provided for the 1-year Subscription Plus plan is charging $100 + tax at checkout, not free as it says in the e-mail.

Mine is doing the same thing. I wonder if its bugged. I was just going to wait a week or so and see if it gets fixed.

Because I still have the older cameras before the Subscription Plan, I don't have to pay any monthly price.

I'm wondering if this "free year" is a way to get people off that older free plan?

Very sad to hear that. These were replacements for the 3 cloud cams I got my parents on one of the prime days for $65 each. They worked reliably for a long time, unlike the HomeKit trash cameras out there (which I still run).

I got Blink Mini for $5 at home depot. After 30 days free trial. I go back to wyze.
They should have given you the Blink Outdoor. Blink Mini is their trash.

Well the Amazon Cloud Cams are not outdoor cameras. I guess this was Amazon's bandaid method of silencing people who had the previous ones. Such an inconvenience

I agree. These don't seem to be an equal value replacement.

I like that the Amazon cloud cams will give a continuous live feed to my Echo show. The blinks time out after like 10 minutes.

Anyone recommend a decent cam that doesn't time out while viewing on the Echo show?
