Anyone know if Sam's Club has a holiday return policy? I want to buy this but also waiting to see if there is any better deals happening on BF and beyond.
Don't believe so, this should fall under their "electronics" returns, which has a 90 day window.

I've returned a mattress to Sam's before, so can't imagine a watch would be an issue. I'm in the same boat as you though, wanting to hold out for something better than this, but this seems like a really good deal.

I highly doubt we see any of the 7s approaching this price point, but I do somewhat expect to see ~$300 for 6 Pro (already had $315 the other day), and maybe 6X.

So is that smaller one or regular size?
It's the 6, which is the "regular"

6s would be the smaller 1.2"

6x would be larger

Is this better then 6x?
Nearly identical to 6x (assuming you're comparing 6 sapphire to 6x sapphire).

Really the only difference is the size of the screen. 6x has larger screen with more pixels, meaning more datafields available on a single screen when exercising

I have the Pro Solar version, which is also Sapphire. Easily my favorite sports watch of all time! The only thing that even comes close is the Garmin Instinct, but having the maps is a must for me.

What an awesome deal

Does anyone else just absolutely hate the Garmin charging cable?
I have the 5 Sapphire, and I dread having to charge it. It has to be juusstttt right or else it doesn't charge. If I get a notification that makes the watch vibrate...it's over, the cable moved just enough to stop it charging. Drives me crazy.
It works fine when the cable is new, but over time the spring contact in the connector seems to get weaker. Just buy a new set of replacement cables (off-brand is fine, they're about $10 for a pack of 2) and it'll work perfectly for a while.

If you aren't in hurry to jump on a deal, fenix 7 has optional touchscreen feature, which is quite useful for GPS, maps etc.

Yeah the 7 models have a handful of cool features that I'd like, but I'm trying to decide how much I value those features. Especially coming from an Instinct with no touchscreen.

I'd imagine we'll see the 7 standard hit $500, don't know if it will make it lower than that.

I think I can stomach $350 for a digital watch, not sure about $500 for only a few more features.

It clicks locked so it doesn't come loose when moving around.

How did you price match: in store, chat, or call? I tried via calling TotalTech member line. Rep said b/c it's Sam's Club, I had to go to a Best Buy store, and the local Sam's Club had to have the item in stock. It's not 100% clear in the state policy in the app, but I don't think that's correct since Sam's is a local competitor, the policy says it includes online prices of local competitors, and the FAQ states it includes warehouse clubs.

I have a Sam's credit card and could save additional 5% that way, but would rather get the 5% via My Best Buy rewards and also get 24 mos. free TotalTech coverage.

Any insight?

edit: the stated policy in app says that the local competitor's product must be "immediately available". Maybe that means in stock at the local competitor, but if so, how would it ever apply to a local competitor's online prices if they don't carry in store and allow in store pickup?

The first rep at Target told me the same thing, but the second rep matched it with no trouble.

Keep trying with either (Target/Best Buy), as it seems very much a "luck of the draw" when it comes to the reps on chat.
