Buy it, then delete it off of the Switch completely. When you're ready to re-download it, you can do so in the Nintendo shop where the game is listed or from the cloud/download section in your account.

Wow! There's a lot there. Any games good for an 8 year old? (2 player preferred so I can play too lol) Also, any way to buy now and "hide" it for Christmas?

No, I don't think there is a way to do this. So dumb. I also wish they had more of a profile setup so games outside of a kids set age range are not visible to them.

Trine 2 and 4 are excellent for 2 players. They might be a little much for an 8-year-old as the puzzles can be tricky, but if you're playing with them then it'll be fine.

Thanks! He really liked playing Unravel 2 with me. I like to watch his brain working to try to figure out the puzzles.

Then Trine 2 and 4 will be right up your alley. Trine 3 is good too, but a little different and harder to control because they added some 3D elements (whereas 2 and 4 are just side-scrolling).

For puzzle fans I highly recommend Lumo and Figment. Hopefully Figment 2 won't be delayed anymore.
