Can it be charged by USB-C? Or DC port only?

Has nothing to do with Motherboard. All it require a certification, which intel processors have from the get go. As I said previously, TB4 is an Intel's marketing gimmick, no significant benefit over USB4. You are not missing out on anything if a PC is missing TB4. You want to pay more for it or it is a must from your POV, I will not argue or stop you from paying more for it.

Just putting information out for awareness only.
USB 4 does not automatically mean tb4. Tb4 is more like the highest spec USB 4.
You can have lower spec USB 4.

usbc also, that's why i want usbc charging of some sort. Since its the highest spec usbc it can charge at full rate the DC port would give.

So, i'd leave the DC charger at home to plug-in and use some available usbc charger on the road. Keep in mind the different capacities of portable usbc chargers and the charging rates that come with that.

Did anything change with Costco citi visa terms recently ? I didn't see any communication and it still says 24 month warranty on their website. Where did you read no extra warranty thing ?

I will take that back. When I log into Citi benefits site I see the notice about upcoming changes to Extended Warranty. They are doing away from the extended warranty altogether post 23rd Jan 2023. That is shocking and one of the best benefits of Citi Costco Visa card that I used to rely heavily on for big ticket items like Tv and laptops and all electronics.. heck even if I bought stuff at Walmart of Bestbuy I used the Citi card just for its extended warranty. First the Travel benefits (trip cancellation and disruption) was taken away couple of years ago and now this... Super disappointing..

Sorry for making a laptop post, a ranting about Citi Costco card. I just cannot believe they are doing this..

Not to derail the thread or anything, but if those benefits are leaving or are gone, what's the benefit of having/using the Citi card anymore?

Why not get a different card which offers better/different benefits? It's an honest question.

I haven't looked at other cards but am curious now if there's actually any true benefit to the Citi card anymore.

A lot of card nowadays provide (3 or 2 or 1%) cahsback on warehouse, gas, travel, grocery etc, (without annual fee of $95). So frankly a 2% cash back on Costco purchase is no more an incentive to use Citi Costco visa at Costco.. Initially the benefits of Citi Costco used to match with a card with Annual fees (primarily due to Costco's bargain/deal with Citi). but with all those benefits gone, I cannot think of a reason to use Citi card. Better off using something like BoA Cash rewards where you can use 2% cashabck for Warehouse (and I believe they do provide one year extended warranty on purchases) or Chase Freedom (with 1 year extended warranty but only 1% cashback)..I am sure there are tons of cards which provide extended warranty but it is beyond me why CITI would TOTALLY remove all extended protection.
