The price is very good and tempting on this. But online research shows onyx studio 4 much better than studio 7, if sound quality is a concern.

Is Bass is the only priority then studio 7 might be a good option.

I have the 6 it's great, keep in mind that unlike the 6 this is not water resistant and has no ip rating. I think I paid 150 for my six about a year ago or less.

I wish these speakers had a button to invoke the assistant on your phone (whether that be siri or google assistant). When cheap speakers like an Altec speaker I just bought for $25 have that button, there really isn't an excuse for it not being present on a speaker such as this. It just makes a world of a difference in being able to invoke the assistant and ask to play a certain song/playlist or podcast when you're not near your phone. Nonetheless, this does seem to be an excellent price on an excellent speaker.

I thought the same thing; however, sometimes the classics are better then the newer models… This can also apply to movie sequels or reboots.
