Yeah, the 750 is a better deal. BUT the rebate on the 750 doesn't actually start until 11-08-22 even though Amazon seems to be saying it starts today.

If you buy the 750 before 11-08-22 your rebate WILL be DENIED!

Paper form says limit one per person. Web registration page says "Limit (32) rebate card(s) per person."

Reviews are meh, hence the large rebate I guess (to clear stock out).
Appears that the fan curve from idle state (under 15% load) to on state is actually an immediate ramp to 100% speed before settling down. People are complaining about the noise happening each time PC stops idling. If this had an "eco mode" switch like other power supplies in order to keep it spinning full time then this could be avoided.
Personally I'd hate that noise; will wait for better deals in the coming weeks (would prefer better power efficiency than bronze too).
