How do you know? Is there a link for Costco's upcoming sale?

Their flyer has it at $499 in a week, I don't think it's going lower

My bad! knew it was on sale, thought it was lower but $499 it is. Hard to go for it at this price. I think waiting will be the way to go

Seems like a great price for a 32" 4K ISP with power delivery

Waiting for what? I don't see much reason to think this will go lower until it is discontinued

Bought this at this price last year from Costco. AFAIK it is available there now at the same price.

Overall, I'm happy with it. I mostly use it for work and light gaming. I got it for the following reasons:
- tidy appearance with integrated stand
- the stand is very solid
- usb-c power delivery
- decent quality 4K IPS panel.
- don't game enough for higher than 60Hz to matter. For the features at this price, it's a decent deal. I still play good games and the monitor looks fine, but gaming isn't a priority to me

Minor gripes:
- HDR isn't great
- the stand requires a deep ledge to clamp to. My desk/table was fine for it, but this will constrain your choice of desks
- the channel/void on the monitor stand where you hide the cables isn't thick/deep enough for me to get all the cables into it. If you want to run all the possible inputs and want all the cables hidden inside the vertical tube of the mount, you may run into trouble.

I think there is some possibility, Amazon was selling the LG 32UP83A-W Model (Ultra Fine 4K without Ergo stand) for $429.99 during the october prime day. Either way we are in no hurry to buy since Costco is running this deal for the next 3-4 weeks

Can you elaborate on your point about HDR. Isn't this monitor HDR10 - are all HDR10s the same, and isn't HDR10 the highest tier?

My impression is that the monitor's brightness (350 nits) isn't really high enough to make it "true" HDR. I still think it looks good for games, though

Makes sense. Costco has been offering this deal multiple times a year for the last couple of years
