Highly recommend this game. I've followed the development since the early alpha days, and it continues to improve and get better. They are about to push out the free 40th Anniversary update with helicopters, gliders, and other additions. Scenery is amazing. Can do formation flights, landing challenges, Reno air races, tutorials, Top Gun challenges, etc. I'd say the premium edition is worth it. More aircraft and hand-crafted airports. And many, such as the Longitude and CJ4 business jets, are about to get some major updates. As a commercial (ATP) pilot, I'd say realism is excellent. PC version has more flexibility for add-ons. But Xbox is great as well.

My understanding with the game pass version is that it's the pc version so flight sticks don't work on the Xbox. Since I have access to it on game pass, I wanted to make sure that thus version would work with my Xbox flight stick, otherwise, yeah! It'd be a waste of my money!

It's still available on Amazon for $25.

The regular version is great. But I think the popular A320 and Cirrus aircraft are only on the premium/deluxe versions. You can buy the standard version and just purchase aircraft/airports you prefer, as well.

I play game pass version on my Xbox with my Thrustmaster flight stick.

Game pass version is the same as the regular standard version. Sticks work on PC and Xbox, and VR only works on PC.

Don't worry, I have only tried a few times, but I suck as well.

Is there any value in buying this if you have gamepass? I prefer physical media, but not sure how much that makes a difference in this case, other than said preference.
