You can softmod it to add TMNT and Turtles in Time or adding retroarch and other emulators. More extensive modding will require hardware changes.

It is hackable to allow for other roms. But the native controls will be read as 1 controller rather than 4 independent sets of controls, which would obviously impede multiplayer on those roms. One solution to this would be a hardware mod to encode the existing inputs as 4 sets of controls. There's even a YouTube video outlining the process for this cab in particular. Doesn't look too difficult.

For what it's worth, this exact cab (with riser and lit marquee) minus the stool and poster were $200 at the end of Sept so unless those extras are important to you, I'd probably hold out for that sort of deal to come around again.

Not as good as the $199 w/ free shipping from Wal-Mart a few months ago. Hopefully the TMNT and X-Men cabs will also follow suit.
