Personally prefer it for less heat generation.

Why is the 20W power supply is provided?

Probably cheaper (production wise to include the 20W USB-C Power Brick (which most likely is featured by itself and/or bundled with other products) Vs. making something custom or taking something from another Belkin product line… worst case you have an Apple Fast Charger (w USB-C to Lightning Cable / *NOT Included) 😋

I've been looking around and I think only the Apple model charges at 15w. I haven't found a single 3rd party one that does (Anker, Ravpower, urlhasbeenblocked, Belkin, etc).

If anyone knows of one let me know.

It is probably worth noting that even the Apple one only charges at 15w to the first 50% then switches to 7.5w.

I bought this during the last sale and I am disappointed with it. It charges my iPhone at 7.5 w when the case is off. But when I have my Apple leather MagSafe case on it barely works. I might only get 1% point increase in the battery charge for 1 hr charge. While my old non mag safe 5w charger does like 20% charge on the same case. Was too lazy to return it so far. Also, maybe it's worth keeping for the 20w charger.
It's also possible that I got a defective unit.

This will charge an iPhone 13 that has a regular clear tpu case? Or the case needs to be removed?

I tried it with a tpu case and it didn't work. My impression so far with this charger is that it requires no case to work as advertised

I found this exact Item a couple weeks back on clearance at Walgreens for $3.99. I assume it's VERY YMMV. It's worth grabbing just for the 20W charger.
