TLDR:
go AM4 if you want to upgrade cheap (CPU prices have never been cheaper)
go Intel 13XXX if you want something faster than AM5 in productivity and 1080p gaming.
go AM5 if you want flexibility to upgrade to a 2024 or 2025 processor.

Should I just get the discounted 12th gen MB combo for now and upgrade next year when meteor lake comes out ,this is the last year for this socket and meteor lake is supposed to be a huge difference .
Or go with Ryzen , this is for building from ground up around a EVGA 3080ti
Or should I just get 12th gen and sell the whole rig next year and buy meteor lake with a 40 series
Seems like a waste to buy raptor lake at full price now when next year is the really big change
Still going to keep my $300 i5-13600k over this i7. $55 ain't worth the small performance increase for me, but thanks OP!

With a Vega 64... anything I use it for it still kills it.
