A bit slow (for a M2 drive, though still faster than a 2.5"), it's available for shipping and the price per TB is amazing. Great find OP!

My laptop is current running the WD SN530 linked below. Is this item compatible for upgrade? Thanks in advance

Also, Would it be a downgrade in terms of speed?

Practically the same in read/write speeds. If it has space for a 2280, it'll fit. You'll have to take a look and check, or check a manual to see what space it has and what form factor you'd need. I was able to throw a 2280 into my buddy's Alienware laptop.

Ah, Microcenter. Waste 3 hours and $50 in gas because we can't be bothered to ship anything we offer for sale on our website.
This definitely shipped in the beginning. It was posted on reddit hours before here.

Thanks, the service manual manual mention 2280 so hopefully it'd fit snugly. Is there a For Dummy guide to swap/clone hard drive. Haven't done hard drive upgrade since Win XP Stick Out Tongue

Impossible deal? Of course it's Micro Center. 5 hour drive one way for me, 8 hour drive the other way for my two closest locations. *Sigh*
