Phenomenal deal. Anyone know how long this would power an LEDTV? Would be a handy solution for tailgating.

A 19" Insignia TV w/no wifi uses about 20 watts an hour

A 24" lcd tv with built-in Roku or FireTV may use around 40 watts an hour.

It's better to never run a lithium battery to empty, so deduct 10 - 20 percent from the Anker's 388 watts and another 15 percent deduction for operational loss. Under these operating conditions, this Anker should easily power a 40 watt TV for 6.5 hours.

Depends on your TV ...

388Wh means it will supply 388 watts for 1 hour ... so if your 40" TV takes 34 watts (googled it), at most it would power it for almost 11.4 hours (388/34)

Anker is a good brand. River 2 has apps remote control. River 2 let you to run higher wattage. River 2 charge 0-100% in 60 minutes. Anker only got 1 AC outlet.

I went with the eb3a. Yes it doesn't have as many Wh but it's a LifePo4 battery and I'd prefer safety vs a possible fire while storing in my basement. I think it depends on what you'll use it for. I bring it for my wife to use an electric blanket at our kids outdoor sporting events and run my portable refrigerator on car trips when I park the car and the 12v accessory port is not providing power.

What portable fridge you have that can run on a eb3a? I'm looking for a similar setup.

Can this be recharged using solar panels?

Anyone know how much solar power would be needed?

EDIT
Never mind, it's mentioned on the product page itself

Solar Compatible

Works with Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) to get the maximum efficiency while solar charging. Connect a solar panel to the DC input port to give PowerHouse a recharge at up to 65W.

Remember all the Samsung batteries exploding in peoples pockets and burning their privates ... that's what LiPo and LiFe does. Usually it's a problem with overcharging or something wrong with the battery itself.

Typically they start expanding first and then can catch fire, but they rarely catch fire.

Lipo batteries rarely catch fire or explode on their own. Usually it occurs when either a) improperly (over)charging or b) mishandling by puncturing, dropping, or otherwise damaging the battery so it short circuits. I've been using lipos in RC cars since they've been around and have never had one catch fire.

Is it wrong to kinda want one of these even without a single real world use for it? I love hearing what other people use them for but rarely have a similar need, yet I still want one. 😂
