Tough for me to understand the benefit of this vs the much cheaper collapsible ones that are readily available (and collapse into a more compact form). Is it purely aesthetics or is there something else I am missing here?

I own a large revol crate. It's mostly for the looks. It does have some benefits. Being able to open from 2 sides and the top is nice. The way the front door closes is nice not pinching my doggy is nice too. The customer service is top notch though. I've had 2 issues squeeky door and cracking tray and they just sent me new ones after sending some pics so their product team could address them going forward. The crate feels very sturdy. My puppy is almost 70 lbs and it contains him well. It's very expensive though, if you asked me if I would get this crate again, I'd be on the fence.

We were looking into getting one of these and glad we didn't. A standard black wire crate works perfectly fine. Can fold up and also can be connected easily to a play pen to create a larger living area for your dog when you need to leave the house. These are purely for looks. Spend the extra money on more treats and toys for your dog, they will appreciate it.

I have one I got it off of the Facebook marketplace for hundred bucks. I like how it looks and functions but I'd never pay what they ask even on sale. Too much.
