Yes. With inflation, this is better than nothing. Depending on where you are, could be up to $11 in savings.

The amount of food you get for the price you pay at PE is ridiculous. In most markets, you are better off buying the combo platter at your local Chinese take-out than at Panda Express. For example, the orange chicken bowl at PE costs 8-9 dollars whereas the orange chicken combo platter will cost 6-7 dollars in most markets. Plus, the food taste better and you get more in quantity.

Good part is it zeroes out bowl with premium entree too. Decent extra meal if you already eat at Panda Express anyway.

I wish they were still 6-7. Chinese take out where i live cost around 9 to 10 dollars here now. Very rare occasions you will find them under 8. Although i do agree the portion size is typically way better at your local chinese.
A lot of American food are not real authentic cuisine. Pizza Hut is not real Italian and taco bell is not real Mexican.

This. Gyros is absolute crap too once you have Doner in Europe for instance. For the most part, food here is cheap imitation for the clueless who don't know better.

I didn't know. Is it fake Chinese food? Or something else? Also, explain what constitutes real chinese food please.

While I like the free bowl of meal offer, I do not like the way PE handles the gift card balance. There is no way to check the history of purchase and the balance of the gift card 。

Panda has more than doubled in price in the past few years, I get it - inflation has hit everyone. But what I have a problem with is the size of the containers, which have shrunk by 50% also over the same time period. Then, when they're putting the Orange Chicken or other entree in, they shake a lot off the spoon before they put any in the box. The amount you get varies wildly from one store to the next, or one server to the next. The thimble sized "extra" item box is a joke, the most you could get into it is a couple of ounces of food. I like the taste of PE but I don't like the lack of value for what you pay. It's become a ripoff in my opinion (YMMV, of course). For that reason, I very rarely go there anymore.

Yeah it's true. it's the number one reason I'll support the mom and pop place first. The others give you a lot more food and the price and taste is hell of a lot better.

I'll only go to Panda if I have a coupon or a friend has invited me and this happens about once a year...

You would want to check for apps designed for Chinese living in US to find 'REAL' Chinese food such as Hungrypanda XD

Panda Bowls are super small. Previously I thought bowls were good deals but bowls get like 1/2 the noodles/rice than the bigger plate does. I don't eat a lot but I still need 2 Bowls to even be full
