Any thoughts on the viewing angle, rtings show narrow viewing angle for this model.
https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/sony/x90k

If you need wide viewing angles in mostly dark rooms then I would go with OLED.

IPS is not good for dark rooms. It does have wide angles.

VA does not have wide angles. This TV is worse than most VA. Most intense criticle viewing is not done off angle. For Sports it doenst matter much if the colors are off. Audio is never ideal at the sides of a room. VA can get brighter and sometimes have a better experiance than OLED. If you have lights or windows a VA like this may be the best option.

Thanks, this is for my living room with few windows. My current TV had glare when watching it during day time.

Let's put it this way. If you're viewing something dark like house of the dragon then you'd want to cover up your windows. But if you're watching sports during the day it's bright enough to overcome the glare.

A few of us scored last year's x91J for $900 this year as Costco clearanced out the last of them, but that's virtually impossible. The culmination of 3 years of patience at some good luck. For an everyday deal, the price in this thread is pretty slick. The X90K fixes the resolution halving issue that the X91J had, so at $1850 I'd say this is just as slick as the X91J was when it hit the easier-to-score $1600 price point, and this is way earlier in the year than it was when the X91J got there.
Is the x91j just the Costco x90j?

Why does rtings have the x900h better?

I have the 65 and 75 x900h it's not all that great. My prior vizio p65-f1 2018 model I believe had a better picture quality in anything 1080p / hdr and up.

No. Sony didn't have an X90J in 85" size, so they rebranded the X900H as the X91J. The costco one was actually the X91CJ.

I believe the X95J is a standard full-array LED while the X95K is the mini-LED. If you're considering the X95K, don't. It was released way overpriced and at this point, it still is by A LOT.

I am by no means a tech or TV expert or videophile, but I'd say I definitely know more than the average person (admittedly because I've watched TONS of YouTube videos on TVs when I was first in the market for a new one a couple of months ago). I also have an illness where I always want top of the line stuff, or close to it, even though I probably won't ever notice the differences. Pretty much all of us will never have competing TVs setup in our homes right next to each other to be able to point out tiny differences.

That being said, I have the 75" X95J as my living room TV. Great TV. No regrets. I seriously considered the QNED85 for my bedroom TV and I'm positive I would have gotten one if a deal like this was around a couple months ago. I ended up getting an LG C1 from someone on OfferUp for a pretty good deal. The C1 is a beautiful TV at night, but the reflection is terrible where I have the TV during the day. I'd say it's unwatchable. I knew this going into it, but of course I had to see for myself.

If you're like me, you'll be happy with either. Whatever you can get a better deal on, go for it.

Are you sure about that? I thought it's the same TV. Specifications on Costco.com say it's full-array.
