PSA: Starting January 22, 2023, Citi Costco Visa cardholders will no longer have extended warranty on purchases made with the card.

Citi has really just given up and stopped trying.

The other 2 large issuers aren't even competing with Citi anymore, and focusing on each other.

Citi is doing their job for them.

Wow…that's the whole reason I got the card. And the reason I bought certain things at Costco. The total warranty would be unbeatable and free. So now I'll likely be buying those appliances or electronics elsewhere.

Now I'm down to BoA Cash Rewards with an extended warranty and no annual fee. Guess that will probably go away sometime next year too.

Not true.. I use a fidelity visa 2% cash back everywhere. No need for Costco card. I got an executive membership too
