Small pinholes and small puncture leaks can be fixed with the repair kit included with your boat. See instructions in your Owner's Manual. It will fix leaks or punctures of 5 cm (2 in) maximum. We do not recommend repairing a leak bigger than 5 cm (2 in) for safety reasons

If you're going to use regular cardboard, better water proof it somehow or it won't last.
